BlogBot Is Live: Ask Questions Directly Inside a post

I’ve been building something small but powerful for a while – and it’s finally up and running.

It’s called BlogBot, and it lives right inside the posts.

The idea is simple: when you’re reading something about EQ, rhythm, or compression and have a question, you can now ask it directly on the page. BlogBot will look through the content on the site and try to give you a clear, relevant answer – instantly.

No scrolling through. No waiting for replies.

Just a direct way to get help while you’re learning or working.

Why I Built It

When I started the blog, it was to share what I’d learned from years in the studio - not just the “how” but the why behind it all. Over time, the posts have grown into a kind of library: a mix of fundamentals, experiments, and personal notes from real sessions.

But there’s a limit to how much a static page can teach on its own. Every producer reads a post differently – one might be searching for clarity on attack times, another for how to tame low-end mud. I wanted a way for the blog to respond to that in real time.

So BlogBot became the next step: a way for readers to explore the ideas in their own direction.

How It Works

BlogBot is built into the site itself.

When you type a question, it searches through the content of the blog –– modules, posts, and guides –– and gives you an answer written from that same foundation.

It’s trained to understand the way I write and explain things, so it should feel like an extension of the blog rather than a generic chatbot. Think of it as a studio assistant that’s read everything I’ve ever written.

What You Can Ask

Anything connected to a post that's written.

For example:

• “What’s the best starting point for a compressor threshold on bass”

• “What's a good free plugin?”

• “What’s the difference between major and minor keys in electronic tracks?”

BlogBot pulls from all the existing articles and modules to give you the most relevant info. If it doesn’t have an answer yet, that’s a sign for me to write one.

A Small Step Forward

This blog has always been about making production knowledge easy to access and enjoyable to explore – no ads, no noise, just music-making at the core. BlogBot is another small way to keep that going, to make learning feel more like a conversation than a search.
